Virtual Mirror Uses Augmented Reality

No special glasses or headsets are mandatory to use that virtual mirror, as the system is comprised of “a camera, a display system, and some special software to supply an augmented reality experience to the observer.” Video after

Note how the shadows of the shirt are preserved. that is the kind of detail that really makes augmented reality plausible.
