Doctor’s Dashboard Gives Patient Feedback

Researchers in the Medical College at the Georgia School of Medicine are developing touch screen kiosk that provides ANONYMOUS FEEDBACK from patients to doctors that physicians can monitor in real-time like a car dashboard. Patients are invited to supply feedback at a kiosk rating their experience. For example, each patient is

asked six questions about the doctor’s communication, such as “Did the doctor listen carefully to you?” The notes is collated, soon after fed to doctors in real-time graphs showing the feedback. At the end of each week, each doctor gets a private e-mail rating their “performance.”
