Dell displays 16-inch concept XPS laptop


Dell engineers are really working hard to outshine their rivals. After unveiling cool Crystal display Dell showcased a 16-inch concept XPS notebook at CES. The firm says movie buffs and videophiles are urged to check out a concept XPS laptop with a 16-inch 16:9 aspect display with full HD 1080p resolution. While most laptop available today feature a widescreen display, the true entertainment enthusiast knows that typical 14.1-, 15.4- and 17-inch notebook displays feature a 16:10 ratio versus

the 16:9 aspect ratio used in most HDTVs. The most accurate representation of video composition for choose Blu-ray movies and digital TV is seen with a 16:9 display. When the source video is 16:9, the movie images will fill the entire 16-inch display with no letterboxing.

Notebook Review reports that the concept 16-inch laptop from Dell looks a lot like the Dell XPS M1530 at first glance, but it really is a non-standard 16-inch laptop.
